A stage and a wagon heading west get separated from the rest of the wagon train thanks to Dusty. Now they must make their way to California. This has to be the worst television series ever made. If it is not the worst, it has to be a close second. That is why you can find it here at RetroVision Theater. We almost specialize in crap now and proud of it. Somebody has to claim the title of Super Sucky Media, so we have decided to step up and take a well deserved bow; well at least for today...

Comedy-Western called "Dusty's Trail". This episode is called "Androcles and the Bear". Silly, but cute. Commonly considered to be a spin-off of "Gilligan's Island". Public domain as it's copyright wasn't renewed. Running time is short as this was a syndicated show.

Episode 'Love Means Bananas' of the 70's sitcom-western "Dusty's Trail". Plot line: "Gronk the Gorilla is loose and treats himself to Dusty's food supply before falling for the beautiful Betsy and abducting her to a cave". This show bombed in the ratings and with the critics. It ran during the 1973-1974 TV season.

Episode "Brookhaven U.S.A" of the infamous 70's western/sitcom "Dusty's Trail", widely regarded as one of the worst TV shows ever. It appears the TV series is now PD. The show was created by the same person as "Gilligan's Island". This show does have it's fans, including my mum.

Another craptastic episode of the "Plan 9 from Outer Space" of TV sitcoms. Well below the standards of it's time! This series ran from 1973 to 1974.

Episode of the forgotten 70's sitcom "Dusty's Trail", widely regarded as one of the worst TV shows of all time. It's appears that this short-lived sitcom is now Public Domain. Basically a rip-off of "Gilligan's Island" set in the old west, with the guy who played Gilligan playing Dusty, and the same creater, This show ran in first-run syndication for one year. In this episode, Dusty recieves an important package to deliver to Fort Hale, and must avoid a criminal who wants to...

Episode 'Here Come the Grooms' of the unpopular 70's sitcom "Dusty's Trail", which ran during the 1973-1974 season. Although the show was a huge flop, and was panned by the critics, it has since become a 'Cult Classic'. Basically a western-sitcom, created by the same person as "Gilligan's Island". It appears this show is now Public Domain.

Before Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and even the Internet, there was Public Access Cable. Return with us now to Columbus, Ohio in the 1990s for the journal of pop culture. Boy, there are plenty of dumb shows with dumb concepts… Thanks to TVsStevePatrick for the updated theme!

OK, so "Captain Video" has generally aged very badly, but most of what I've seen of the series has a certain charm to it and kinda fun to watch. However, this 1950 episode is just plain unwatchable, due to stereotyping and a general lack of sci-fi themes. This should only be downloaded by DuMont Network collectors...everyone else should run for their lives.

This program, "The Betty Hutton Show", featured seriously uneven writing and supporting cast. However, here is a really bad episode. Just like the other episode I uploaded, this is NOT funny! No wonder nobody watched it!

From 9/25/73: Horse of Another Color (Season 1, Episode 3) Dusty accidentally ropes a wild appaloosa whose owner is hung up on hangings. Dusty: Bob Denver. Callahan: Forrest Tucker. Marshal: Donald Barry. Rancher: Buck Young. Hired Hand: Jim Gammon. Brookhaven: Ivor Francis. This is #1 of 17 complete episodes believed to be in the Public Domain from the 26 episodes that were produced. Dusty's Trail was not a direct spin-off of CBS's Gilligan's Island, but it reworked the "lost"...

(c)1997 Family Broadcasting Corporation DVD transfer 33. Going to be a fairly detailed description for this one. These were all recorded from World Harvest Television, a relatively small Christian network (compared to TBN or Daystar) that is one of two networks owned by Family Broadcasting Corporation, a company owned by the family of late South Bend-based evangelist Lester Sumrall (the company is currently run by his grandson Drew). The network first started in 1972 and was programmed to a...
